For an innovative new initiative within the global payment technology sector, we are actively seeking a highly skilled and forward-thinking Senior AI & Java Engineer to join our team. This role is perfect for an experienced professional who excels in developing intelligent, scalable systems and enjoys working with cutting-edge technologies such as GenAI, LLMs, and agentic workflows. The successful candidate will play a key role in building next-generation B2B SaaS solutions that power secure and seamless financial transactions worldwide. You will work in a hybrid model (2–3 days per week in the office) from our locations in Krakow, Wroclaw, or Warsaw.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and deploy AI agents using GenAI, LLMs, LangChain, LangGraph, and related frameworks
- Build agentic workflows and tools in multi-agent environments
- Design and implement microservices using Java, Spring Boot, Kafka, and MySQL
- Author and maintain APIs, ensuring performance and scalability
- Apply test-driven development practices and conduct code reviews
- Support CI/CD pipelines and deployments across development, staging, and production
- Troubleshoot production and security issues
- Participate in architecture design and documentation
- Write and optimize database queries and fix bugs in existing codebases
- Contribute to large-scale application design and deployment procedures
Requirements
- BS in Computer Science or related field, plus 7+ years of relevant experience
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Proven experience with GenAI, LLMs, and AI agent deployment
- 6+ years of Python experience in AI development
- 7+ years of experience with Core Java and java application development for Restful web services
- 7+ years of Java experience, including RESTful web services
- Deep knowledge of Spring Framework, Spring Boot, and build tools like Maven
- 5+ years of experience with Kafka and reactive/event-driven programming
- Solid understanding of OOP design principles and design patterns
- Experience with multi-threading and concurrency
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes (preferred but not required)
