Join our SaaS Operations team, where we build and operate the technical foundations for internal AI adoption across GetYourGuide while managing and continuously improving our global application stack to deliver an outstanding employee experience. Our mission is to enable safe, scalable, and effective AI usage internally by reducing fragmentation, setting clear standards, and helping teams access and work with AI capabilities in a reliable, secure, and consistent way.

You’ll work closely with colleagues in IT, Security, Legal, and the AI Council, and partner with AI-focused teams across the company. Together, we make sound technical choices in a fast-moving AI landscape—keeping our systems dependable and secure through proactive maintenance, thoughtful governance, and a strong operational mindset.

• Develop and support internal AI platform capabilities that help teams across the company adopt AI tools in a practical and effective way.
• Take strong ownership of initiatives, guiding them from early problem definition through technical evaluation, implementation, and ongoing improvement. 
• Assess internal AI needs and translate them into scalable technical solutions
• Evaluate tools and approaches with attention to security, compliance, and operational suitability
• Drive adoption while helping reduce shadow AI and improving governance processes
• Serve as the senior AI technical authority within the team — owning the AI governance framework, leading security and compliance conversations, and setting the strategic direction for internal AI adoption. 
• Work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to balance technical possibilities with real business needs and make decisions quickly in a changing landscape.
• Scale AI capability across GetYourGuide by acting as the primary technical escalation point and go-to advisor for teams navigating AI adoption, tooling decisions, and governance requirements.

• AI Platforms and Tooling: Experience working with AI tools, platforms, or internal enablement solutions, with the ability to assess what is appropriate, safe, and effective for organizational use.
• Systems and Technical Breadth: A strong generalist background with familiarity across platform, SaaS, or systems-oriented environments, and the ability to operate comfortably across technical domains.
• Security and Governance Awareness: Understanding of compliance, security, and governance considerations related to AI adoption, including how to balance innovation with responsible usage.
• Business Judgment: Ability to interpret stakeholder requests, challenge assumptions when needed, and identify the underlying problem to guide better outcomes.
• Ownership and Execution: Comfort operating in ambiguity, making decisions, and driving progress in a new and evolving area.
• Communication: Strong skills in working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including the ability to explain trade-offs and influence decisions clearly.

• Background or exposure to cybersecurity or governance
• Experience in a similar role at a comparable organization
• Sysadmin or platform administration background
