The Product Manager has a key role in establishing NiCE’s vision, strategy, and product roadmap for NiCE’s Customer Experience Analytics solutions. The role requires a high-energy individual who excels at working with cross-functional teams in a technical space and is comfortable in leading a team effort, as well as influencing others to achieve company objectives. 

The Product Manager is the champion for their products throughout each product's lifecycle, from strategic definition to technical design to end-of-life planning. The core objective of the Product Manager is to optimize product profitability by maximizing customer satisfaction through timely delivery of appropriate and useful products/features, with clearly articulated product positioning that effectively communicates the value proposition of the NiCE solution. The Product Manager represents customer needs in product definition artifacts and on cross-functional program teams, ensures product acceptance in the market, and plans orderly transitions of products from one version to the next. Together with Product Marketing and Development,and other members of the Product Management team,the Product Manager will help the company develop a product roadmap that ensures NiCE offers highly competitive solutions to its customers. 

Essential functions of the Product Manager include developingmarket and product requirements for the NiCE product/solution offering, based upon customer, competitive, technical,and market information. The Product Manager defines the roll-out plans for delivering the individual products to market, develops product positioning,packaging,and pricing strategies, and champions the product launch process for and within NiCE, including with potential customers. 

The ideal candidate has abackground in requirements definition,as well asexperience working on cross-functional teams and interfacing with customers. This may be from prior roles as a Product Manager, Business Analyst, User Experience professional,Quality Engineer,or others. This individual hasdemonstrated ability to grasp, and then articulate,business andtechnical concepts to a wide variety of audiences. The ideal candidate can influence various parts of an organization with the necessary excellent interpersonal skills to quickly gather and distill information, build relationships with strategic customers and vendors outside of NICE (as well as with key people within NICE), and champion their ideas and products both inside and outside of NICE.The ideal candidate also possesses strong technical and business analysis skillstoquickly assess and remain abreast of the state of the industry. This includes synthesis of any promising new technologies, new applications of technology, standards activities, changes in buyer behavior and expectations, competitive vendor positioning or moves, etc. 

 
 
A Typical Day Might Include the Following: 

  • Work with partners, customers, and NICE sales to understand business’ needsregardinginteractionanalytics with the contactcenter. 
  • Develop and maintain appropriate “Product Requirements Backlogs” detailing the business and technical requirements for eachrelease. 
  • Create and own your product’s roadmap and execute it successfully. 
  • Communicate value propositions of features to the internal and external stakeholders. 
  • Assist with the development of the functional/technical design for the features and functions called for by the productrequirements. 
  • Manage relationships across functional groups and influence cross-functional groups without direct hierarchical ownership of teams orproducts. 
  • Prioritize and update defects, improvements, andenhancements. 
  • Design/ Storyboardand develop product demonstrationscenarios within theapplication, primarily utilizing AI prototyping and/or coding tools. 
  • Participate in customer-facing sales meetings, events, and user conferences as a productexpert. 
  • Perform competitive analysis and become the reference point for knowledge of the competition’srelevantproduct(s). 
  • Communicate the value of features and functions to a wide range of audiences, including internal employees (primarily sales,services,and support), customers, prospects, and partners. 
  • Communicate in an effective and professional way with customers in and outside of NICE  

 

To Land This Gig You'll Need: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Business Information Systems, Marketing, or similar field or equivalent work experience required. Master’s Degree preferred. 
  • 5+ years’ experience with software product management,professional services, or in another relevantrole.   
  • Comfortable working on a complex platform made up of many applications while owning parts of it. 
  • Excellent written and oral communicationskills.   
  • Demonstrated experience as a persuasive and persistent advocate for customerneeds.   
  • Excellent cross-functional team leader with project managementskills.   
  • Demonstrated ability to take the initiative and work in a self-directedmanner.   
  • Ability to thrive in a changingenvironment.   
  • Ability to communicate comfortably across all levels of corporatestructure.   
  • Ability to work with sales executives and assist with opportunities as subject matter expert, especially when offerings are new tomarket.   
  • User experience / Graphic design skills a plus, but notrequired.   
  • Knowledge of telephony infrastructure a plus, but not required.   
  • Bachelor’s Degree(MS or MBA preferred).   
  • Experience with Contact Center solutions including Agent interactions and automation, virtual agents, GenAI/LLMs. 
  • Experience managing one’s own time and balancing many different projects simultaneously. 
  • Experience with software development, networking, hosted applications, telecommunications, or other similar technical products 
  • Experience with a SaaS product set.

Skills Required

  • 7+ years of consultative account/program management experience
  • Significant experience with business intelligence, analytics, and data visualization
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
  • Ability to create and deliver polished presentations using Microsoft PowerPoint
