About the Role
We are seeking a Senior AI Data Engineer to design, build, and operationalize data and machine‑learning pipelines that power EcoCeres’ AI solutions.
You will work hands‑on with data ingestion, model integration, and deployment workflows to turn AI innovations into scalable, production‑ready systems supporting commercial, operations, supply chain, and finance teams.
This role bridges data engineering and applied AI implementation—ideal for someone with strong programming and data‑pipeline skills who can collaborate with data scientists and business users to deliver real value from models and analytics.
You will contribute to the group’s AI transformation by ensuring that data, models, and workflows are reliable, governable, and ready for enterprise use.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business users to translate AI use cases into data and system requirements.
- Design and implement ETL/ELT pipelines, data models, and orchestration workflows that support AI and ML use cases.
- Integrate AI models (LLMs, ML algorithms, agents) into production environments via APIs, microservices, or enterprise tools.
- Implement and maintain MLOps practices—including model versioning, deployment, monitoring, and retraining pipelines.
- Ensure data quality, lineage, and governance within AI and analytics environments.
- Work with cloud and infrastructure teams to enhance scalability, performance, and cost efficiency of AI workloads.
- Visualize and communicate analytical results and system performance to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
- Stay updated on modern AI/ML tooling, frameworks, and data engineering practices to continuously improve delivery efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Computer Science, Data Science, Business Analytics or a related quantitative discipline with a strong AI focus
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in AI/ML, data analytics, software/data engineering (incld. AI integration and agentic solutions), or digital transformation
- Strong proficiency in Python for data processing, model development, and API integration
- Knowledge of AI orchestration and MLOps practices, including data pipeline management, model deployment, and workflow automation
- Exposure to LLMs and foundation models (prompt design, fine‑tuning, API management, or embedded agent systems).
- Understanding of advanced analytics techniques—e.g., regression, clustering, forecasting, reinforcement learning, or optimization.
- Familiarity with security/privacy concepts for AI solutions (access controls, data handling, vendor/tool risk awareness).
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving mindset with curiosity to learn business processes within the biofuel, energy, or advanced manufacturing sectors
- Proficiency in English; Mandarin considered a plus.
