We are looking for a Senior AI Engineer to lead our transition from standard Power BI reporting to a unified, AI-powered application. This role is key to building an interactive platform with actionable functionalities, including "chat with your data" features that leverages structured/unstructured data primarily from Power Bi semantic models, external services and internal file systems. You will not only drive the technical development but also mentor junior team members, helping us build an end-to-end "insight to action" capability.
Job Responsibilities
Design, develop, and implement advanced AI models (RAG, ACE, etc.) to unlock deeper data insights.
Architect and build a unified web application for an interactive user experience that moves beyond traditional dashboards.
Create and leverage APIs to integrate data sources and functionalities into the application.
Implement AI-driven features like "chat with your data" for intuitive data exploration.
Translate business needs into technical requirements and innovative solutions by collaborating with stakeholders.
Lead and mentor junior developers, growing their skills in AI and software development to build a high-performing team.
Champion software development best practices (Agile, CI/CD, version control) for high-quality, timely delivery.
Ensure the scalability, reliability, and security of all developed applications and AI models.
Job Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
Proven senior-level experience designing and deploying AI models, particularly with RAG, ACE, or similar.
Strong proficiency in developing web applications with complex data functionality.
Expertise in Python and relevant AI/ML frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, LangChain).
Proficiency in full-stack web development (e.g., React/Angular, Node.js).
Experience with data engineering, including data pipelines, ETL, and databases.
Demonstrated experience in leading and mentoring junior developers.
Excellent problem-solving and strategic thinking skills.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Nice to have: Experience with Power BI Embedded and the Power BI SDK.
