Ingredion is hiring a Senior Manager, Agribusiness to lead a team of Agri-Sales Managers and Specialists, manage over $100 million in sales, and drive strategic growth in high-value markets such as pet food. This role is critical in optimizing pricing, freight, and customer relationships while developing new market opportunities.
What you will do (Responsibilities):- Lead a sales team focused on balancing supply and demand, pricing strategy, and customer relationship management.
- Establish pricing strategies for corn gluten feed and meal across the US/Canada region to maximize returns and optimize freight and customer mix.
- Position Ingredion’s agri-products in high-value markets such as pet food, including managing plant approvals and stakeholder relationships.
- Manage commercial relationships with major customers like Nestlé Purina, Mars, JM Smucker, and Post Holdings.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the US/Canada network.
- Coordinate contract flows into Ingredion’s hedging programs.
- Build strong internal and external relationships to ensure effective communication and execution.
- Manage and coach up to 4 direct reports, supporting performance and career development.
- Analyze market trends and develop short- and long-term strategies based on supply/demand forecasts and competitive insights.
- Minimum 7 years of relevant industry experience.
- Proven track record in sales and management roles.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret market data.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Office 365); SAP experience a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Agribusiness, or related field; Master’s or MBA preferred.
- Agricultural background and merchandising experience is a plus.
- Passionate about commodity markets and sales.
- Strong customer focus and relationship-building skills.

$141,360.00-$188,480.00 AnnualThis pay range is not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Final base salary will be determined based on several factors which may include but are not limited to responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data and applicable bargaining agreement (if any).
Incentive Compensation:
As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Ingredion Annual Incentive Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus.
