Being in a fast-growing cardiac ablation business segment and with recent acquisition of the AFFERA™ Mapping and Ablation System, we are poised to provide innovative solutions to address unmet needs for many patients. We are seeking a talented and motivated Senior AFFERA™ Therapy Account Consultant to join our team to further drive the growth of the business.
Reporting the operating unit this role is critical in providing expert clinical and technical support and training to physicians and EP Lab Staff on the optimal use of the AFFERA™ Mapping and Ablation System.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

  • Provide proficient clinical and technical assistance to physicians and EP Lab Staff on the use of the Affera™️ Mapping and Ablation System and related equipment (Generators, SW functionalities, pump and accessories).
  • Serve as technical adviser/expert, demonstrating products/service, providing T&E, in-service or trade show support and troubleshooting product issues.
  • Adapt and contribute to short and long-range plans, goals, and objectives for the Affera™ Mapping and Ablation System. Adapt and deploy product / service value proposition.
  • Conduct competitive product analysis, opportunity assessment and market research.
  • Be an active participant to the development of advanced clinical workflows.
  • Work closely with the education team and support the development of training centers.
  • Stay abreast of all products information across the Medtronic CAS portfolio, instructions for use (IFU) and relevant scientific clinical literature and new product information.
  • Be responsible for product launch strategies for new site activation as well as ensuring effective product placement relative to customer needs.

Required Knowledge and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree required in electrical or medical engineering or related scientific disciplines or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of clinical EP experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years of successful independent support of EP mapping procedures.
  • IBHRE or equivalent certification is a plus.
  • Fluency in English, any other European languages are advantageous.
  • Valid driving license
  • Ability to manage high-stress situations with a clear problem-solving mindset.
  • Ability to ensure knowledge transfer to other colleagues and peers when requested.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of responsiveness to customer or other internal and external stakeholders.
