Are you passionate about building data-driven customer experiences using Adobe Experience Platform? Then we’re looking for you! We’re looking for a Senior Developer – AEP to join our team and help shape the future of real-time, personalized marketing.

In this role, you’ll be responsible for designing and implementing scalable solutions on Adobe Experience Platform, collaborating with cross-functional teams to bring customer data to life across channels. You’ll work at the intersection of data engineering, marketing technology, and customer experience—delivering impactful solutions for leading brands.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement robust data pipelines and schemas within Adobe Experience Platform (AEP).

  • Integrate AEP with Real-Time CDP, Adobe Journey Optimizer, Adobe Target, and other Adobe Experience Cloud tools.

  • Develop and manage XDM schemas, datasets, identities, and data ingestion workflows.

  • Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and marketers to ensure data quality and readiness for activation.

  • Build and maintain APIs and event-based triggers to support real-time personalization and journey orchestration.

  • Optimize platform performance and data flows through testing, monitoring, and analytics.

  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers and marketing technologists.

  • Stay current with Adobe product updates, data privacy regulations, and CXM best practices.

Skills and Experience

  • 2+ years of hands-on experience with Adobe Experience Platform and Real-Time CDP.

  • Strong understanding of XDM, identity resolution, segmentation, and data governance.

  • Proficiency in JavaScript, JSON, REST APIs, and Adobe Launch.

  • Experience with Adobe Journey Optimizer, Adobe Target, and Adobe Analytics is a plus.

  • Familiarity with agile methodologies and tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Git.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a collaborative, proactive mindset.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Adobe Certified Expert – Adobe Experience Platform or Real-Time CDP.

  • Experience in a CXM agency or consulting environment.

What We Offer

  • A dynamic, international work environment with colleagues from around the globe.

  • A challenging position at a successful company in a growing market.

  • A fun and inclusive culture—think foosball, table tennis, themed events, and team parties.

  • 3 extra days off (yes, at Merkle we take your well-being very seriously) - in addition to 25 annual vacation days, there are 3 Well-being Days.

  • 2 Social Impact Days - you can volunteer for a charity of your choice.

  • Extensive learning and development opportunities, including a wide range of personal and online training.

  • A hybrid work model, with 2-3 days in the office and the rest working from home.

  • A competitive salary and excellent secondary benefits.
