What you’ll achieve

As a Senior Advisor, Social and Environmental Responsibility, you will lead strategic initiatives that ensure the safety and sustainability of Dell's supply chain. We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Human Rights Expert to join our team. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring our company’s compliance with evolving human rights regulations and best practices related to process chemicals and elements. This position will require a strong understanding of human rights due diligence processes and the ability to translate them into actionable strategies for our business.

Be part of a team that leads one of the industry’s most comprehensive audit programs to ensure compliance with all requirements from industry associations, government and other regulatory bodies and provide mitigation recommendations and action plans. This role offers the opportunity to expand one’s scope within the Supply Chain Assurance organization or the ability to gain experience in supply chain operations as part of a career in Dell’s environmental, social and governance efforts.

You will:

  • Ensure company’s compliance with evolving human rights regulations by proactively monitoring and analyzing domestic and international regulations related to human rights

  • Leverage strong understanding of human rights due diligence processes to translate them into actionable strategies for our business

  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including key industry associations and civil society organizations

  • Engage in constructive dialogue with stakeholders on human rights issues relevant to our business

  • Evaluate our mitigation programs for effectiveness and analyze data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement

  • Previous professional experience in regulatory compliance
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and senior management, interact effectively at all levels and across diverse cultures and build consensus and influence decision-makers
  • Strong problem-solving and root-cause analysis skills
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational, project management and administrative skills

Desirable Requirements

Experience in human rights due diligence preferred. Typically requires 8+ years of related experience in a professional role with a Bachelor’s degree; or 6+ years with a Master’s degree; or 3+ years with a PhD; or equivalent experience. Degrees in environmental sustainability-related field are preferred.

Compensation

Dell is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The base salary range for this position: $135,000 to $155,000
