Honeywell Technology & Connected Services (HTCS) is expanding and seeking a Senior Advanced Project Engineer to support the execution of next‑generation software products across Honeywell Automation’s portfolio. In this role, you will lead complex, cross‑functional initiatives from concept through launch, ensuring on‑time delivery, technical excellence, and high-quality customer outcomes.

LOCATION: Atlanta, GA on Hybrid work schedule.

Responsibilities
  • Partner with Line of Business leaders and cross‑organizational stakeholders to plan, manage, and execute large-scale programs within committed scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Lead the end‑to‑end HTCS Software Product Development Lifecycle for the Connected Buildings Platform, from business case creation and proof‑of‑concept activities through development, testing, and full product launch.
  • Collaborate closely with Product UX, Engineering, Product Security, Customer Support, and Customer Success to ensure exceptional customer experience and successful deployments.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance or improve existing products, partnering with internal and external stakeholders to influence future enhancements.
  • Work with cross-functional engineering, product management, operations, and security teams to ensure on‑time delivery that meets quality expectations and aligns with strategic objectives.
  • Leverage technical proficiency and leadership to guide teams through complex software development challenges, ensuring alignment with business and technology goals.
  • Support go‑to‑market efforts and coordinate with operations teams to ensure seamless testing, launch readiness, and deployment of new products.
Qualifications

YOU MUST HAVE:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in Software Product Development project management experience

  • Extensive experience in project and large-scale program management including risk management, stakeholder management, vendor management, scope management. 
  • Ability to establish influential partnerships at all organizational levels
  • Experience leading software development teams
  • Exceptional communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills, with proven ability to engage with business leaders at a strategic level
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment and strong leadership and communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Teams, and SharePoint
  • Capability to lead change; build high-performing global teams within a matrix environment and model high-performance standards
  • Broad multifunctional expertise encompassing technology, marketing, sales, and innovation
  • Execution skills characterized by persistent drive for results, utilizing effective program management, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
  • Results-oriented with a positive attitude
  • Strong and decisive, capable of making decisions amidst ambiguity
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, especially in cross-functional collaboration, facilitation, and negotiation
