Position SummaryWe are seeking a highly experienced Senior Advanced Network Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing operational support, working as an escalation point within the global Network Engineering team handling complex issues globally and designing and implementing network solutions across our campus and data centers. Additionally, this position will be involved in IT work related to mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures, as well as network discovery and documentation. The candidate must possess a strong technical background and be able to work with a high degree of latitude and provide leadership and mentorship to junior members of the team.
Essential Job Functions:
Provide operational support for the network infrastructure, including troubleshooting complex issues and collaborating with other teams within IT and external stakeholders across a multinational enterprise
Design and implement network solutions across campus and datacenter networks. Provide expert technical support and guidance on highly complex design issues
Serve as an escalation point for the global IT department in general providing technical expertise and guidance
Lead and participate in IT work related to mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures, including network integration and separation
Conduct network discovery and documentation to ensure that the network is accurately represented and maintained to a high level of quality
Proactively utilize and develop network monitoring tools to notify the team of any issues. Monitor network performance and capacity and make recommendations for improvements and upgrades
Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to ensure that the network infrastructure is up to date and effective
Data Center operations experience – Build and maintain rack, cable, power, High Availability options, capacity planning and forecasting, disaster recovery/business continuity, load balancing and architectures
Provide technical mentorship and guidance to Network Engineers, Senior Network Engineers and other IT staff
Education:
BS or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, MIS or related field (or commensurate experience)
CCNP/CCIE Enterprise, Data Center or Security is desirable
6+ years' experience working as a Senior/Advanced Network Engineer or Architect in an enterprise environment
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
Experience working on merger, acquisition or divestiture related network integrations at an Enterprise level would be highly advantageous
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Overlay Technologies (VXLAN, BGP EVPN, Cisco ACI)
WAN Technologies (MPLS, SD-WAN, DMVPN, IKEv1, IKEv2, GRE)
Firewalls (Cisco ASA, Cisco Firepower, FortiGate)
Cisco Catalyst SD-WAN
Remote Access VPN Technologies and Posture Assessment
Cisco ISE for authentication and NAC.
Cloud Technologies (Microsoft Azure)
Network Services (DHCP, DNS, RADIUS, NTP, TACACS+)
Enterprise Wi-Fi and RF Planning
NX-OS, IOS-XE, IOS-XR
