As a Senior Technical Validator here at Honeywell, you will support technical validation activities for engines, power systems and mechanical controls systems for Aero and UAM aircrafts. Your responsibilities will include the review of drawings for manufacturability, dimensional accuracy, and adherence to industry and internal standards; verify geometric dimensioning and tolerancing to ensure proper fit at next-level assembly; and review 3D model integrity to ensure accurate translation to CAD and CAM tools. You will act as a technical lead for less experienced engineers supporting you. You will also lead continuous improvement efforts including knowledge capture, design standards, tools and process improvements.
You will report directly to our engineering leadership, and you’ll work out of our Tempe, AZ, Torrance, CA or South Bend, IN location.
This position is within the Mechanical Design, Technical Validation & Standards team, part of Aerospace Engineering and Technology, Control Systems (CS) organization.

QualificationsYOU MUST HAVE
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics
- Demonstrated experience utilizing Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T).
- Demonstrated experience in product development.
- Demonstrated experience of industry standards.
- 7+ years of relevant engineering experience.
WE VALUE
- Significant experience in drawing detailing and drawing changes for new and legacy programs.
- Expert in GD&T and ASME Y14 Series.
- Significant experience with Honeywell Aerospace mechanical drawing requirements and industry drawing standards.
- Familiarized with tolerance stack-up analysis (axial and radial).

- Experience with PLM tools, Teamcenter preferred.

The annual base salary range for this position is $117,000 - $146,000. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Honeywell considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate’s work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.
