Job Description
The Senior Administrator, Fund Governance is a key member of the Fund Governance team at EFG Wealth Solutions. The role provides high-quality administrative support, coordinating day-to-day activities and maintaining accurate records to keep operations organised and compliant. It includes managing a portfolio of client entities, completing client and investor periodic reviews, supporting compliance monitoring and preparing reports for boards and regulators. The position also contributes to service and process improvements and supports business development by recognising opportunities to promote additional services.
Main Responsibilities
- Maintain awareness of wider business and fund service capabilities and identify opportunities to promote additional products or services, escalating to your manager.
- Build a thorough understanding of each client’s activities and ensure all required actions are completed in a timely, diligent and accurate manner.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date records with strong focus on data integrity and internal obligations.
- Conduct testing as part of Compliance Monitoring Programmes for regulated client entities.
- Prepare six‑monthly compliance reports for client entities for presentation at relevant board meetings.
- Obtain, record and maintain appropriate client due diligence (CDD), ensuring documentation is captured in the PureClient system.
- Completion of client and investor periodic reviews and trigger event reviews.
- Ensure compliance with all local regulatory requirements, and with Group and local policies and procedures.
- Understand and apply appropriate standards in relation to AML requirements.
- Meet continuing professional development (CPD) requirements with relevant training and development.
Skills and Experience
- Good academic background, including GCSE (or equivalent) in English and Mathematics at Grade C/Level 4 or above.
- Recognised professional qualification (e.g. Accountancy, Chartered Secretary, STEP, Banking, Securities, Compliance or other relevant Table 5 qualification), or willingness to work towards this, with relevant AML/CFT/CPF and financial regulation experience.
- At least 2 years’ relevant finance industry experience within an offshore financial services organisation.
- Fair understanding of client administration and fiduciary services.
- Good knowledge and understanding of the local finance industry, legislation and regulatory requirements.
- Strong commitment to client service excellence.
- Ability to manage workloads effectively and meet varying deadlines.
- Ability to work accurately under pressure and communicate clearly in both written and verbal form.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint; knowledge of PureClient, FrontInvest and/or Navision is desirable.
