The Senior Administrative Assistant is responsible for providing administrative support of a sophisticated nature to a dedicated group and/or one or more leaders. This position provides administrative and operational support to the Director of Permitting, Land & Real Estate within Williams' Power Innovation organization and performs a variety of moderately difficult assignments requiring experience, analysis, innovation, sound judgment, and a high degree of professionalism.

Responsibilities/Expectations:
  • Provides administrative and clerical support, including work of a confidential nature
  • Serves as key point of contact for internal and external business partners
  • Assists in the technical and functional services of the department through project support, invoice management, preparation of business documents and presentations, coordination of approvals, monitoring of data, and reporting
  • Maintains cost center data and analysis
  • Assists with preparation of budgets and forecasts
  • Supervises the work of others on assigned projects
  • Mentors others
  • Other duties as assigned
Education/Years of Experience:
  • Required: High school diploma/GED and minimum five (5) years of progressive experience in general office, clerical or administrative support
  • Preferred: Some college or Associate’s degree
Other Requirements:
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrates excellent organizational/interpersonal skills and safety as the upmost priority
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications and PC skills
  • Preferred: Experience using Oracle financial systems
  • Preferred: Basic knowledge of SharePoint
