Statistics & Decision Sciences (SDS) is a function of Quantitative Sciences & Clinical Pharmacology. SDS comprises of Cardiopulmonary, Oncology, Immunology, Neuroscience, Medical Affairs, Post Approval Lifecycle Management, Discovery & Manufacturing Statistics, Statistical Modeling & Methodology & Consulting and Strategic Business & Computing Operations.
The SBCO organization applies deep understanding of drug development, statistics, scientific computing, business operations, and enabling technologies to deliver scalable, compliant, and high‑value solutions for SDS. SBCO comprises three integrated units: Strategy & Business Operations (SBO), Scientific Computing Operations (SCO), and the SDS Centralized Administrative Network (SCAN).
The Sr. Administrative Assistant provides routine administrative support within the SDS Centralized Admin Network (SCAN) service model, contributing to pooled support and executing tasks aligned with defined service levels and processes.
The role delivers accurate, timely, and high-quality administrative support with professionalism, discretion, and effective communication while following established processes and service expectations.
Principal Responsibilities
Expertise:
- Manages meeting scheduling, calendars, and related coordination for assigned teams.
- Coordinates meeting logistics, including agendas, materials, technology setup, and onsite, offsite, virtual, or hybrid event support following SCAN service standards.
- Travels to other local sites, such as Raritan or Spring House, approximately 2–3 times per year to support town halls and other meetings as needed.
- Prepares, formats, files, and manages documents and records.
- Coordinates complex and short-notice travel arrangements in accordance with company processes.
- Provides space management support, including coordination of workspace requests and related administrative activities.
- Supports contract and purchase order processes, including HCC, contracting, and PO coordination in partnership with relevant stakeholders.
- Supports onboarding, offboarding, interview scheduling, and related coordination activities.
- Maintains distribution lists, SharePoint sites, and administrative systems to ensure data accuracy.
- Supports general office coordination including supplies and visitor logistics.

- Internal: Statistics & Decision Sciences (SDS), SDS Administrative Network, Clinical Pharmacology and Pharmacometrics (CPP), Integrated Data Analytics and Reporting (IDAR), Leaders and Scientists within Therapeutic and Functional Areas, Global Development, Quality, Human Resources, Information Technology, Finance, and Procurement.
- External: Contracted partners, suppliers, vendors, key opinion leaders, academia, professional societies, and public/private consortia.
Education and Experience Requirements
- High School/Secondary degree or equivalent required.
- A minimum of 4 years’ experience in administrative or office support is required.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage routine tasks independently and prioritize work effectively.
- Up to 5% travel across U.S. sites is required.
- Travels to other local sites, such as Raritan or Spring House, approximately 2–3 times per year to support town halls and other meetings as needed.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is :
$52,500.00 - $84,525.00Additional Description for Pay Transparency:
Subject to the terms of their respective plans, employees are eligible to participate in the Company’s consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)).Subject to the terms of their respective policies and date of hire, employees are eligible for the following time off benefits:
Vacation –120 hours per calendar year
