Description:

We are seeking a talented individual to join our team at Marsh Re. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

This role supports the day-to-day operations of the SmartSource procurement system, including requisition processing, vendor management, and new vendor onboarding. The position also helps ensure accurate records, compliance with company policies, and timely support for internal users and purchasing activities, while providing as-needed assistance with travel coordination, meeting logistics, and expense reporting in accordance with company policy.

We will count on you to:

  • Support the day-to-day operation of the SmartSource procurement system

  • Process requisitions accurately and in a timely manner

  • Maintain organized and accurate procurement records

  • Assist users with SmartSource-related questions and issues

  • Support vendor management activities, including coordinating updates and maintaining vendor information

  • Assist with new vendor onboarding to help ensure all required information and documentation is collected and processed accurately

  • Help ensure procurement activities comply with company policies and procedures

  • Partner with internal teams and vendors to support smooth purchasing processes

  • Own and manage the Amex Events card, including responsible use, tracking of expenses, and submission of accurate expense reports for reimbursement

  • Contribute to accurate tracking, reporting, and overall system efficiency

  • Provide as-needed support for travel coordination, meeting logistics, and expense reporting, including arranging accommodations, preparing itineraries, facilitating meetings across U.S. time zones, and submitting accurate T&E reports in accordance with company policy.

  • Collaborate with Broking Support Services leadership to identify and implement innovative improvements in processes, consistency, and efficiency across the region

What you need to have: 

  • High School Diploma with over 5 years of relevant business experience.

  • Resourceful, proactive, and professional communicator, adept at using Zoom and Microsoft Teams for videoconferencing.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, capable of managing multiple high-priority requests while keeping all stakeholders informed.

  • Highly organized with the ability to track long-term deliverables, work cooperatively with others, and maintain confidentiality on sensitive issues.
