The Senior AD Technologist will provide analytical support to MS&T Chemists for process optimisation and/or change; Analytical support to commercial manufacture for Unplanned Event / OOS Investigations; support validation, Method transfers and analytical testing. This opening is based at our Dublin API manufacturing site and is offered on a 1-year fixed term contract.
Main duties to be performed

Provide analytical support to projects – Develop analytical methods for raw material, intermediate, in-process or API methods. The projects may focus on current commercial processes or new chemical entities under transfer to commercial organization.

Ensure all analytical work is documented as appropriate, (Laboratory Notebook, Memo, Report).

Contribute to the identification of unknowns – for example, use of LCMS applicable methods and use of LC.

Competency in most of the following analytical techniques: HPLC (Reverse Phase, Chiral, etc.) with UV, PDA and MS detection, GC with FID and MS detection, TLC, Particle Size, ICP, IR, UV, Titrimetry, Colorimetry.

Support training and analytical testing

Ensure that calibration and maintenance of equipment is carried out, as required

Develop and validate analytical methods for, Quality Control or In-Process Control as required. Compile protocols for validation, execute and compile the validation report for review

Assist in the Analytical Technical Transfer on site – to Production or Quality Control functions.
To be considered for this role, you will have BSC. in Science (Analytical focused). At least 3 years relevant experience working within a GLP environment. Experience in Method Development, Method Transfer or Validation would be beneficial.
