Description
Athenix Solutions Group is looking for a Senior Acquisition Consultant in the Ft. Meade, MD area. You will provide acquisition management and support including advising and assisting in the planning and implementing of acquisition activities, and strategies, updating policies, recommending process improvements, and providing administrative assistance to the directorates.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct the acquisition of a wide range of IT equipment, maintenance, licenses, and servers in support of multiple cross domain systems
- Provide admin support for the Joint Malware Catalog platform contract and AWS and Microsoft Cloud Services contracts.
- Perform duties of a Government Administrator (GAM) in PIEE - activate/deactivate user account roles and various user responsibilities
- Perform support duties in CON-IT - resolve various user issues, submit tickets, unlock documents, upload warrants and support documents
- Perform a wide range of support actions including solicitations, modifications, amendments, process misc. documents and running reports
Requirements
- Active TS/SCI security clearance with a current Polygraph
- 10 Years of experience in contract management performing all aspects of acquisition life cycle activities
- 5 Years experience implementing project management principles and managing, tracking, and coordinating a wide range of actions, documents and tasks to completion
- 5 Years experience in Federal and/or DOD aquisitions
- Experience working in a complex cyberspace operation and or multitask holder environment
Desirables:
- Certified Portfolio Management Professional (PFMP) or Certified Professional Contract Manager (CPCM) or Certified Federal Contract Manager (CFCM)
- Experience in IT contracting and Task Order Management
- Experience in FAR and DFAR based acquisitions
- Experience tracking and responding to organizational taskers
- Experience is drafting organizational policies and standard practices
- Previously a warranted contracting specialist of offer with the Federal Government or Military
- Experience using CON IT acquisition software or equivalent program and a Federal or Military space
- Experience working sole source and competitive procurements from requirement to award in FFP, CP, CPFF, and T&M style awards
