Role Overview
The senior acquisition manager will be responsible for tracking and reporting on the overall performance of our new customer acquisition strategy. Working closely with different teams including media, ad tech and commercial, the role will be report on key customer acquisition metrics from registrations, conversion to CPA and customer value. As a key role of the marketing insights team the role will be responsible for performance tracking across all our media channels and will work as part of the team to establish an accurate attribution model which will be implemented across France, Spain and Portugal reporting.
Working closely with the media team, the senior acquisition analyst will support channels with data and insight to help inform our budget and investment strategies as well as our high-level media plans. The role will collaborate with and challenge teams to ensure we have the best strategic media plan and will ensure we are hitting our acquisition targets both in terms of value and volume.
Reporting to the Marketing Insights lead, the role will work to ensure the accurate set up of reporting tools and will bring an expert analytical ability to translate data into clear insight. You will be able to provide clear performance narratives, providing collaborators and decision makers with not only the what’s but the whys of the SEU performance story. The role will pull data from different sources to ensure the insight provided is a robust, well rounded and reliable overview of performance.
Crucially, the senior acquisition analyst will provide insight and data to highlight problems or issues within our strategies or customer journeys. Highlighting dips in conversion flows, or with player value, the role will work with Martech, PAM and wider product teams to identify solutions to problems highlighted through performance data.
What you’ll do:
Responsible for tracking & reporting on new customer acquisition performance across conversion, volume and value
Bringing together and providing acquisition data across Poker, Casino & Sports
Development of self-serve reporting tools and automated reporting bringing knowledge of the best tools available to the role
Support the development and integration of an effective attribution model
Support & facilitate planning & budget forecast by providing key channel acquisition data
Provide collaborators & decision makers with regular performance narrative updates, highlighting issues, challenges & opportunities
What you’ll bring:
Proven experience of marketing performance & insight analysis and reporting
Excellent Microsoft Excel skills, with an ability to transform, analyse and present data for use in decision making
A strong foundation in querying data with SQL
Experience of developing and integrating attribution models
Experience with visualisation tools such as MicroStrategy and/or Power BI as well as marketing data sources such as Appsflyer etc.
An understanding of concepts related to CPA, return on investment, and marketing payback.
Initiative taker with keen interest in the latest measurement and tracking trends and developments
An ability to use data as a means of storytelling, communicating technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Strong analytical skills with good attention to detail and a focus on accuracy.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask and manage time appropriately while under pressure,
Excellent communication skills with the ability to present information in a clear and concise manner.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships across departments.
Ability to take ownership of projects and to work alone with little or no supervision.
Willingness to learn and proactive in sourcing relevant knowledge to self-solve.
Knowledge and understanding of the Gaming industry beneficial
Experience using Python
Knowledge of Atlassian JIRA/Confluence
