We are seeking a meticulous, analytical accountant and will play a critical role in the order to cash (OTC) process. This individual will be responsible primarily for the monthly revenue close process for professional services including ad-hoc reports and assist to bridge the revenue forecast with actuals. In addition, we are on a mission to constantly automate so there will be projects related to process improvement and system upgrades.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Work with the Global Services Team to ensure financial accuracy for our professional services, projected fees, and invoices.
Setting up financial information (budgets, rate cards, billing rules) within our professional service system.
Review and summarize contracts with customers, propose accounting treatment, book orders and generate invoices in the NetSuite.
Perform monthly and quarterly revenue close including journal entries, account reconciliations, and reporting.
Work closely with the business in financial analysis.
Support quarterly and annual audits.
Identify and manage continuous process and procedure improvements creating scalable solutions for anticipated growth.
Support accounting IT projects for system automation, enhancements, implementation, and maintenance.
Perform other tasks as required.
Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field preferred, semi-qualified CA or CPA or MBA (Finance) is plus.
5+ years of Revenue Accounting experience.
IFRS15/ASC606 knowledge.
SaaS and software industry experience preferred.
Advanced MS Office including MS Excel proficiency.
NetSuite, Open Air, SFDC knowledge a plus.
Professional Services Automation system knowledge a plus.

Work Environment:
Office-based or hybrid work options available.
Flexible office hours and need to work 2-3 hours late evening.
