Summary:

As a Senior Accounting Support Representative, you will Access and utilize all appropriate applications and system modules to process transactions including but not limited to billing and job costing. Handle more complex customer issues, commercial accounts, account cancellations, reinstatements, accounts referred to
collection agency.

What You'll Do:

1. Billing & Invoicing
• Process and review daily invoices and collection letters through internal billing systems.
• Ensure accuracy of billing information and make necessary adjustments.
• Manage customer billing inquiries and resolve discrepancies promptly.
2. Accounts Payable
• Assist with vendor invoice processing and payment scheduling.
• Verify and reconcile vendor statements and resolve payment issues.
• Support month-end closing activities related to payables.
3. Inventory Management
• Monitor and reconcile inventory transactions within accounting systems.
• Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records for financial reporting.
• Collaborate with operations to resolve inventory discrepancies.
4. Payment Processing
• Handle checks, credit card payments, refunds, adjustments, and expired credit cards.
• Reverse ACH and credit card payments and update customer account information.
• Post Accounts Receivable payments accurately and timely.
5. Ad Hoc Accounting Duties
• Support special projects and reporting requests as needed.
• Assist with audits and compliance documentation.
• Provide accurate and timely responses to internal and external stakeholders.

What You Will Need:

• • High School Diploma or equivalent. 
    • Associate's Degree in a relevant field - Preferred
  • 1‐3 years of accounting support experience.
  • Advanced customer service skills.
  • Advanced MS Office knowledge, including intermediate or greater proficiency with Excel.
  • Ability to understand and follow Standard Operating Guidelines.
