We are looking for an experienced and proactive Senior Accounting Specialist to join our Finance team. This role will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, supporting compliance and tax processes, and partnering with different teams across the company.

What You'll DoGeneral Accounting- Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes.
- Prepare and review journal entries and account reconciliations.
- Maintain the integrity and accuracy of the General Ledger.
- Analyze accounting transactions and resolve discrepancies.
- Prepare supporting schedules for financial reporting.
- Oversee vendor payments and expense accounting.
- Support accounts receivable processes and collections tracking.
- Review employee reimbursements and corporate expenses.
- Ensure proper documentation and accounting treatment of transactions.
- Support cash flow monitoring and forecasting activities.
- Manage banking operations and account reconciliations.
- Monitor liquidity and assist with treasury reporting.
- Coordinate tax filings and statutory reporting requirements.
- Support external audits and compliance reviews.
- Ensure adherence to local accounting regulations and internal controls.
- Maintain documentation required for financial and tax compliance.
- Collaborate with Payroll, FP&A, Legal, and Operations teams.
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Assist with month-end reporting packages and management reporting.
- Analyze financial data and provide actionable insights.
- Identify opportunities for automation and process optimization.
- Participate in ERP and finance systems implementations.
- Improve accounting workflows, controls, and documentation.
- Support Finance transformation initiatives as the company scales.

- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.

- Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills.
- Experience working with ERP systems.
- Intermediate to advanced English proficiency.
- Eligible to work in Colombia or Mexico.
- Experience with NetSuite.
- Experience working in technology, SaaS, startups, or high-growth companies.
- Experience with multi-country accounting operations in Colombia, Mexico, or the United States.
- Familiarity with IFRS and US GAAP.
- Experience supporting audits and tax compliance processes.
- Knowledge of automation and financial systems integrations.
