What impact you’ll make:
As a leader of the General Accounting and Closing team, you will be an active contributor to the list
Manage day-to-day Closing and accounting activities
Drive overall ownership and accountability regarding Controllership initiatives across GEV.
What you’ll do
Lead monthly/ quarterly close procedures & reporting globally.
Drive timeliness & accuracy in financial closing & reporting and manage related communications with all Regions, Accounting COE and GEV HQ where appropriate.
Provide controllership leadership on new ERP implementations and migrations. Understand business processes and systems to help streamline and make the processes more efficient.
Manage cross business schedules for ownership changes and Coordinate account reconciliation activity and own metrics.
Manage 3-4 Accenture contractors
What you’ll bring (Basic Qualifications)
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (this is a must in Hungary)or equivalent knowledge or experience
Major experience in audit, accounting and/or controllership
Strong controllership mindset.
Demonstrated ability to analyze and present complex financial data.
Proven track record driving process improvements and projects.
Excellent communication skills.
Fluent English knowledge is essential
Excellent PC skills including Excel, Power Point, etc.
Experience in various GEV Financial Systems, including ERP’s – Oracle, SAP
