Senior Accounting Analyst

We’re looking for a Senior Accounting Specialist in Hamilton, NJ - to perform a pivotal role in aligning financial practices with sustainability goals, ensuring investments are both profitable and environmentally responsible.

What you will do:

• Based in Hamilton, NJ, you will prepare financial statements for multiple entities, including developers, construction, and operating entities. Perform intercompany accounting and consolidations
• Manage AP/AR reconciliations, bank reconciliations, revenue accruals, adjusting entries, job cost reconciliations, and equity roll-forwards
• Provide audit support, review, and document processes, and assist with corporate tax filings and multi-state sales/use tax filings
• Assist with project financing, periodic funding, financial schedules, and cost-to-date documentation
• Continuously improve accounting procedures and support the development of more efficient workflows
• Work cross-functionally with teams, support special projects, and bring a service-oriented approach to a demanding environment

We are experts, which means you will have the following skills and experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting with 3-5 years of experience, preferably in energy, construction, and/or real estate development
• Strong experience with accounting systems, ERP software (Sage Intacct a plus), and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
• Multi-entity accounting, consolidations, and intercompany accounting experience. CPA or public accounting experience is a plus
• Strong written and verbal communication, diligence, and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
• Ability to work in a flat, collaborative organization, maintain confidentiality, and operate proactively with minimal supervision
