As we continue expanding across the country, we're looking for a highly analytical and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our Finance team.

This role is ideal for an accounting professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys solving complex accounting challenges, and wants to play a key role in supporting a rapidly growing multi-location organization.

What You'll Do

As a Senior Accountant, you will help ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP while supporting financial processes that drive scalability, efficiency, and growth across the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain compliance with ASC 842 lease accounting standards, including evaluating new contracts, preparing right-of-use (ROU) asset and liability entries, and managing monthly lease schedules.
  • Calculate and record monthly, quarterly, and annual performance bonuses in accordance with corporate incentive plans.
  • Support acquisitions through purchase price allocations for greenfield projects and business combinations.
  • Design and manage processes for tracking vendor credits, rebates, and allowances to ensure accurate financial reporting and contract compliance.
  • Prepare and review complex journal entries
  • Partner with external auditors and tax advisors during audits and compliance reviews.
  • Maintain organized and accurate accounting documentation and supporting schedules.
  • Analyze monthly financial results and identify opportunities for cost savings and revenue improvement.
  • Assist with special projects and other accounting initiatives as assigned.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of corporate accounting experience.
  • CPA license or CPA eligible and actively pursuing certification.
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, including experience with ASC 842 lease accounting.
  • Experience with accrual-based accounting principles.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.
  • Experience working with ERP/accounting systems (Sage Intacct experience is a plus).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting retail, hospitality, restaurant, or multi-location organizations.
  • Experience with acquisitions, lease accounting, and complex financial transactions.
  • Public accounting experience is a plus.
