Senior Accountant

Work Arrangement / Work Shift: Fully Remote | Independent Contractor | US Shift: CST or EST

Role Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Senior Accountant with strong NetSuite experience to support our growing US-based accounting operations.

This role focuses on accrual-based accounting, month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting.

This is a full-time remote role based in the Philippines, aligned with US CST or EST business hours.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Perform full-cycle month-end close in NetSuite

• Prepare and maintain monthly workpapers and account reconciliations

• Record and review journal entries (accruals, prepaids, adjustments)

• Maintain accuracy of the general ledger

• Assist with financial reporting and variance analysis

• Support cash flow tracking and reporting

• Reconcile bank, credit card, and balance sheet accounts

• Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data

• Collaborate with US-based team members and clients

What You’ll Need:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance

• 5+ years of accounting experience (US accounting experience preferred)

• Strong experience with NetSuite

• Deep understanding of accrual accounting

• Proven experience with month-end close and reconciliations

• Strong Excel / Google Sheets skills

• Excellent attention to detail and organization

• Strong English communication skills
