The JADA Group of Companies invites applications from suitably qualified and experienced individuals for the position of Senior Accountant.

The Senior Accountant is responsible for managing and maintaining the accuracy and integrity of all financial records and reports in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and company policies. This role supports strategic decision-making by providing financial analysis of business operations, including procurement, sales, accounts receivable, reconciliations, and cost performance.
The incumbent will play a key role in budget management, variance analysis, and process improvement, ensuring strong internal controls and financial efficiency across the manufacturing and equipment rental divisions.


KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:

• Provide overall leadership and oversight of the Finance and Payroll Departments, including staff management and responsibility for all financial accounting, reporting, and control functions.
• Develop, implement, and maintain financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, professional standards, and best practices.
• Prepare and present timely and accurate monthly management accounts for all Group companies, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
• Conduct detailed financial analysis and provide strategic insights to support business planning, operational decision-making, and long-term growth initiatives.
• Coordinate and oversee the annual budgeting and periodic forecasting processes, working closely with department heads to establish realistic and achievable financial targets.
• Monitor and analyze financial performance against approved budgets and forecasts, identifying variances, risks, and opportunities, and implementing corrective actions where necessary.
• Manage cash flow and working capital to optimize liquidity, ensure operational stability, and support expansion and investment initiatives.
• Manage and maintain effective relationships with local banking institutions and financial service providers.
• Ensure ongoing compliance with all statutory, regulatory, and professional requirements, including tax, payroll, and financial reporting obligations.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the finance and payroll team by providing guidance, performance feedback, and professional development opportunities.
• Lead and coordinate the external audit process, liaising with auditors, tax advisors, and other financial stakeholders to ensure timely completion and compliance with all reporting requirements.
• Remain informed of industry trends, regulatory developments, and best practices in financial management, and recommend strategies and initiatives to strengthen the Company’s financial performance and competitive position.

Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field with CPA, ACCA, or equivalent certification.
• Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience.
• Strong working knowledge of IFRS, GAAP, and local tax laws.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Demonstrated ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
