Summary: Administers and manages daily activities of the accounting functions and provide assistance to the Finance Director and management.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Other duties may be assigned
  • Assists in the development and implementation of facility goals and priorities relating to financial management, budget, accounting, purchasing and/or payroll in compliance with State and Federal law, and Legends Global policies and procedures.
  • Prepares and preforms or assists with event settlements
  • Prepares bank reconciliations
  • Assists with the preparation of all financial reporting, including:
    • Monthly financial statements for the Client and Legends Global, annual budget and annual report
    • Maintains general and subsidiary ledgers, accounts receivable, accounts payable, revenue distribution, depreciation, operating expenses and insurance records.
    • Prepares and analyzes information for financial statements and reports
    • Prepares monthly forecasts
    • Assists with audits
    • Coordinates audit materials
    • Work with external auditors

Supervisory Responsibilities: Assists the Director of Finance to carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with Legends Global’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include assisting with interviewing, hiring and training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; in conjunction with Human Resources.

Education and Experience:

  • B.S. in accounting for Finance from a four- year college or university
  • At least 3 to 5 years work related experience required

Skills and Abilities:

  • Extensive knowledge of general and cost accounting
  • Excellent math skills
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal skills and organizational ability
  • Ability to work with and maintain highly confidential information is required
  • Extensive knowledge of accounting software, spreadsheets and word processing software
  • Experience with Sage, D365 and ADP preferred

Compensation: $65,000 - $75,000 Annually

FLSA Status: Full Time / Salaried / Exempt
