About the Role:
Direct report to the VP of Finance, responsible for managing the month-end close process, maintaining the general ledger, enforcing financial controls, and ensuring compliance with GAAP.
Key Responsibilities:
Month-End Close & Audit- Prepare and review reconciliations
- Support timely and accurate month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close
- Maintain audit-ready workpapers, schedules, and supporting documentation
- Respond to auditor requests and assist with walkthroughs and testing
- Reconcile inventory AP subledgers to the general ledger
- Partner with Operations and Supply Chain to resolve pricing, quantity, and timing discrepancies
- Support inventory costing accuracy and cutoff during month-end close
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 3-5 years of experience
- Strong understanding of accrual accounting and GAAP
- Experience using an ERP
- Proficiency with Excel (XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, pivot tables, reconciliations)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage deadlines and handle multiple priorities in a high-volume environment
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
