The Senior Accountant is responsible for assisting with month end close processes, preparing invoices, and fixed asset management. In this role you will also reconcile balance sheet accounts, preparing necessary workpapers, ensuring timely and accurate reconciliation of the general ledger. The Senior Accountant will also cross train and serve as a back up to payroll, accounts payable, and other departments as needed.
The starting pay range for this position is $45.00-$53.50 per hour.
This is a part-time role working between 25-30 hours a week out of our Boulder office. This in-office role will work 3-5 days a week (days and times are flexible).

Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field
- Minimum of six (6) years hands-on accounting experience
- Knowledge and understanding of generally accepted accounting principles and general accounting procedures (General Ledger, Balance Sheet, Financial statements, etc.)
- Experience in payroll, accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Strong aptitude for working with numbers
- Experience with Sage Intacct & Paycom preferred
- Proficient with Excel, creating and working with intermediate spreadsheets
- Ability to appropriately prioritize tasks; strong organizational skills; high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to self-manage and work independently
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
