Senior Accountant

As an Accountant at PERGOLUX, you will take ownership of end-to-end accounting processes, ensuring accurate financial records, compliant reporting, and efficient month- and year-end closings. This role has a direct impact on the reliability of our financial data and supports informed business decisions as we continue to scale. • Own full-scope accounting for assigned legal entities, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with German GAAP and internal standards.

• Prepare and reconcile accounts, including balance sheet and P&L reconciliations, with a strong focus on data quality.

• Manage month-end and year-end closing activities, ensuring timely and efficient close cycles.

• Prepare VAT returns and other mandatory reports for German tax authorities.

• Collaborate closely with the Head of Accounting and Bookkeeper, aligning weekly on priorities and continuously improving accounting processes.
  

• At least 5 years of professional experience, including a minimum of 2 years in full accounting (not limited to a single sub-area).

• IHK Bilanzbuchhalter certification or a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.

• Solid hands-on experience with account reconciliations, VAT reporting, and month-end closings.

• A structured, fast-thinking mindset with the ability to work autonomously and prioritize effectively.

• Clear and direct communication skills, paired with a target-driven and results-oriented attitude.
