Our client is a rapidly growing, multi-location entertainment and hospitality company with a strong national footprint and an energetic, customer-focused environment. They are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Senior Accountant to join their finance team. This role will play a key part in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting month-end close, and helping scale accounting processes to support continued growth.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP
- Lead and support the month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis
- Analyze financial results and provide insights to management on trends, variances, and performance metrics
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness
- Assist with revenue recognition, lease accounting, and fixed asset tracking across multiple locations
- Partner with operations and cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial reporting
- Support external audits and tax filings by preparing schedules and documentation
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and internal controls
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 4–6 years of progressive accounting experience
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting requirements
- Experience with multi-entity or multi-location accounting environments preferred
- Proficiency in accounting systems and advanced Excel skills
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment
