As a Senior Accountant, you will play a key role in supporting our regional and retail-focused finance activities by executing accurate technical accounting, leading IFRS reporting processes, and driving continuous improvement in month-end close operations.

Compensation: Based on qualifications, we anticipate the hiring range will be $80,000-$95,000.

Hybrid Work: We require team members to be in our downtown Minneapolis office three days per week, offering flexibility while fostering in-person collaboration.

Responsibilities:

Month-End Close & Financial Reporting

  • Prepare month-end general ledger reconciliations, investigate out-of-balance items, and prepare monthly financial reports with detailed data analysis.

  • Support internal and external audits, including creating standalone financial statements for two Americas business units.

Technical Accounting & Process Improvement

  • Manage technical accounting processes related to IFRS 15 (ASC 606) and IFRS 16 (ASC 842), including the ongoing analysis and validation of calculations.

  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency in the financial statement close and intercompany activities across Amplifon Americas and Italy.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with Procurement on Procure-to-Pay activities, account understanding, and issue resolution.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with regional finance leaders to resolve discrepancies and strengthen accounting accuracy.

Must-Have Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting.

  • 5+ years of accounting experience or 3+ years of public accounting experience.

  • Strong knowledge of general accounting principles and demonstrated experience applying them to general ledger functions (AP, AR, intercompany transactions, accruals, and intangibles).

  • Advanced Excel skills (formulas, lookups, tables, pivot charts) and a proven ability to work with accuracy under tight deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Oracle ERP experience and exposure to mid-sized or large companies in retail environments.

  • Experience with Procure-to-Pay processes and familiarity with macros or VBA.

  • Strong analytical approach with an ability to identify root causes, combined with a curiosity to grow into broader responsibilities.
