Position OverviewOur client is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Senior Accountant to support full-cycle accounting operations. This role will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial reports, supporting audits, and assisting with analysis across multiple entities.

Key Responsibilities of the Senior Accountant- Maintain and reconcile accounts to ensure accuracy of financial records
- Prepare and analyze monthly and periodic financial reports
- Perform general ledger reconciliations and post journal entries
- Handle monthly bank reconciliations
- Manage intercompany reconciliations across multiple entities
- Support revenue recognition, deferred revenue, and expense accounting
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes
- Maintain accrual and prepaid schedules
- Calculate foreign exchange gains/losses and post exchange rate adjustments
- Liaise with U.S. and Canadian tax preparers and authorities
- Support annual audit processes and provide required documentation
- Assist with project-based reconciliations and reporting tied to revenue-generating events
- Participate in system transition efforts (Dynamics GP to SAP) and process improvements
- Provide ad hoc financial analysis and reporting to leadership
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- 4+ years of relevant accounting experience
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and full-cycle accounting
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics GP (Great Plains) required; SAP experience highly preferred
- Corporate accounting background highly preferred
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines with a sense of urgency
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
