Senior Accountant

The Senior Accountant plays a key role in supporting the finance function and is responsible for the month-end close process, reconciliation reporting, variance analysis, audits, enforcing department accounting policies and other ad-hoc projects. Additionally, this role assists with our SAP initiatives and internal and external financial reporting. This position reports directly to the Finance Manager. 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities 

• Ensuring the consistent integrity of information, in a timely manner.
• Compliance with internal and external accounting policies, procedures and legislation. 
• Management of the month end process to ensure completed to prescribed timelines.
• Supporting of E-Archiving Invoices, E-Invoicing Portal, Exchange rate difference calculations.
• Reconciliation and posting of payroll information into SAP.
• Accruals posting, based on cost centres revision and in collaboration with business and manufacturing finance.
• Monthly review of balance sheet of 2 legal entities to identify and resolve any issues.
• Inter company reconciliations. 
• Local Taxes calculation and Payments.
• VAT returns and associated work.
• Work closely with Tax advisor to deliver tax computations and prepare Tax Calculation.
• Manage and support external audits.
• Supporting transfer pricing. 

• Perform other special projects as needed.

• Bachelors-Accounting or related.

• Minimum 5 years of experience

• Italian and English. Turkish is a plus. 

• Microsoft Office – in particular strong Excel skills.

•  SAP / or ERP system.
