Findex Bathurst is looking for an enthusiastic and professional Accountant OR Senior Accountant to join the Business Advisory Services Team on a Permanent full-time basis.

We are also open suitable candidates whom are based in Orange or Lithgow. We’re seeking a candidate who thrives on communication, collaboration and exceptional client outcomes. 
 

Your role, your contribution!   

• Deliver high-quality and efficient accounting services across a diverse client base.
• Attend meetings with managers and partners to deliver completed work.
• Assist in preparing business advice, tax returns, business activity statements, financial statements and reconciliations for companies, partnerships, trusts and individuals.
• Complete jobs efficiently while meeting technical standards, deadlines, and budgets.
• Assist with general bookkeeping duties and client correspondence.
• Liaise with the ATO and other Government bodies on client matters.
• Maintain up-to-date technical knowledge to ensure compliance with all statutory and relevant regulatory requirements.

What you bring to the role:  

• Sharp attention to detail and excellent prioritisation skills.
• Proven experience in public practice business advisory accounting.
• CA or CPA qualified or working towards it (preferred but not essential).
• Strong Excel skills and hands-on experience with Xero, MYOB, or other cloud tools.
