Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes
- Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and general ledger analysis
- Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting in accordance with GAAP
- Assist with preparation of financial statements and supporting schedules
- Analyze financial data and provide insights to management
- Support budgeting and forecasting activities
- Manage fixed assets, accruals, and prepaid accounts
- Coordinate with external auditors during annual audits
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and internal controls
- Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (required)
- 4+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Public accounting experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting principles
- Public accounting experience preferred
- CPA or CPA-eligible is a plus
- Proficiency in ERP systems (NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, or similar preferred)
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, etc.)
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
