About the job
- Accounting & financial reporting
- Lead full- set accounting operations ensuring accurate and timely month-end & year-end closing, financial reporting, and compliance with both K-GAAP (statutory) and IRFS (corporation)
- Oversee general ledger, sales & revenue recognition, AP, AR and balance sheet governance to support company and finance performance objectives
- Prepare and review statutory financial statements (K-GAAP based) and corporate reporting packages (IFRS based)
- Ensure accuracy in tax adjustments, VAT filings, corporate tax filings, and provide full support for tax audits
- Drive working capital optimization (DSO, DPO improvement) and strengthen overall financial stewardship and risk management
- Identify and execute process and system improvement initiatives to enhance accounting operational efficiency
- Hands-on working on overseas AP and ensure alignment with global process standards
- Audit, compliance & internal control
- Lead and coordinate Internal & external audit cycles, ensuring timely completion, high-quality audit readiness, and ownership of the internal control framework
- Strengthen internal controls, compliance, and SOX-equivalent control processes; ensure consistent adherence to global and local accounting policies
- Leadership & collaboration
- Supervise and develop accounting team members to elevate capability, productivity and performance
- Work closely with the FP&A manager to support planning, forecasting and analytical needs
- Collaborate proactively with cross-functional teams to drive seamless financial operations & organizational efficiencies
- Communicate effectively across local and regional/global stakeholders, ensuring clarity, transparency, and alignment across all reporting and governance activities

- Ensure full compliance with local statutory regulations and reporting obligations
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) with ability to prepare analysis and presentation
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or equivalent) and capability to drive system enhancements or adoption initiatives
Job Goals
In this role, to uphold the organization’s financial integrity by ensuring accurate, compliant, and timely financial reporting, while strengthening internal controls and maintaining a robust accounting framework aligned with statutory and global requirements. This position will safeguard financial health through disciplined oversight of budgeting, forecasting, tax compliance, and month‑end close to ensure full adherence to K-GAAP/IFRS.
Enhance decision‑making by delivering clear, data‑driven financial reporting, identifying risks and opportunities, and driving continuous improvement across accounting processes, systems, and team capability. Ensure strong financial controls, audit readiness, and efficient end‑to‑end operations across the finance function.
Additionally, collaborate closely with cross‑functional leaders to improve working capital, reinforce financial discipline, and support corporate initiatives, while maintaining effective coordination with external auditors, tax advisors, and global finance teams. Through these efforts, build a high‑performance accounting organization that supports sustainable growth, transparency, and operational excellence.
Ideal Skills and Capabilities:
- Bachelor’s degree or above (required)
- 10+ years of relevant accounting experience, ideally in a multinational company
- Strong expertise in K-GAAP & IFRS, tax and Internal controls & compliance
- Proven experience managing full accounting cycle as a senior accountant
- Leadership experience managing and developing team members
- Strong analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Proficient in English both in verbal & written
- CPA or equivalent certification is a plus (optional)
- Ability to travel internationally as needed
- (Preferred) Experience using Maconomy
