OUR WORK MODEL:
Hybrid: This is a hybrid role, requiring you to work from our London office 3 days per week, with flexibility to work remotely on other days.
YOUR ROLE:
As a senior member of the accounting team you will be responsible for supporting and managing key elements of the financial and operational accounting aspects of our business, reporting directly to the Director of Accounting.
YOUR CHALLENGES & OPPORTUNITIES:
- Monthly Accounting: Preparation of entries and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Reporting: Managing the preparation of monthly analytical reviews.
- Audit & Certification Management: Liaise and support external auditors.
- Process Improvement: Reviewing and implementing process improvements and documenting all our internal controls processes.
- Project Management: Contribute to executing and delivering on team projects. Supporting the wider finance team/business with other ad-hoc projects.
- Regulatory Expertise: Supporting the business in launching new initiatives by providing appropriate accounting support & oversight.
- Business partnering and collaboration: Working with our Marketing/Legal/HR/Business/Financial systems teams.
OUR EXPECTATIONS:
- Professional Experience - 5 years’ experience in Accounting. Strong skills in Excel and previous experience using Netsuite a plus
- Regulatory Knowledge - Qualified CA, CIMA, ACCA or equivalent
- Industry Background - Big 4 experience required. Prior experience in a tech company, SaaS, or start-up environment is highly desirable.
- Ownership & Communication - Ability to manage and meet strict and multiple deadlines simultaneously.
- Problem-Solving Mindset - Proactive, solution-oriented, and adaptable to a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- Detail-Oriented & Organised - Strong organisational skills with a keen eye for accuracy and compliance best practices.
- Fluency in English - Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
