The Senior Accountant supports monthly and quarterly close activities, financial reporting, and consolidations in compliance with U.S. GAAP, with exposure to IFRS and European statutory requirements. This role prepares and reviews journal entries, reconciliations, financial statements, and audit support with minimal oversight. The Senior Accountant partners cross-functionally across the organization to ensure accurate accounting, proper disclosure of transactions, and continuous improvement of accounting processes. The ideal candidate brings strong integrity, accountability, attention to detail, and a proactive, analytical mindset.
What You'll Do- Prepare and review balance sheet and income statement reconciliations
- Prepare and review routine and complex journal entries as part of the monthly close process
- Perform complex account reconciliations and financial analyses
- Assist with preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Prepare and/or review statements of cash flows for domestic and international entities
- Maintain detailed equity transaction records, including stock issuances, exercises, and stock-based compensation
- Prepare monthly variance analyses (actual vs. budget) and communicate insights to management
- Support external audits by providing schedules, documentation, and audit-ready financial statements
- Assist with accounting and reporting for European subsidiaries, including coordination with local teams and auditors
- Support U.S. GAAP to IFRS and local GAAP reconciliations; document and communicate differences
- Ensure consistency in global accounting policies and support consolidation activities, including intercompany eliminations and FX translation
- Contribute to accounting policy development and process improvements
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
- 3+ years of relevant accounting experience; public company or public accounting experience preferred
- Big 4 experience strongly preferred
- CPA a plus, not required
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP; IFRS experience a plus
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills and experience with financial systems
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
The expected base salary range for this position is $80,000 - $95,000 annually.
Compensation may vary depending on several factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, experience, competencies, and geographic location. Some roles may qualify for extra incentives like equity, commissions, or other variable performance-related bonuses.
