We are looking for a passionate and experienced Senior Financial Accountant to join our SEA Finance Controlling team to be based in Bangkok, Thailand.
What You’ll Do:
The Senior Financial Accountant will be responsible for managing financial controlling and reporting to ensure all stakeholders’ interests including customers, suppliers, and employees—are accurately recorded and safeguarded. The role also ensures full compliance with Thailand statutory reporting requirements and tax regulations, while supporting the business with reliable financial insights.
Your Role at a Glance:
Prepare monthly, quarterly, annual financial statements for management reporting and annual financial statement for local statutory.
Conduct financial analysis, providing details reports on key financial metrics and trends for month end closing to explain PL BS Flux.
Ensure all financials reports comply with accounting standards and company policies.
Maintain and improve internal control systems to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data.
Ensure the company's financial operations comply with relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies.
Liaise with external auditor, tax agent, and other institution.
ability to work cross function with other departments to provide financial perspectives.
BS reconciliation, stock take, fixed assets monitor and physical checking.
local tax compliance filling such as VAT/WHT/CIT if any.
Assist in other ad-hoc tasks as assigned.
What You’ll Bring to Us:
CPD (Continuing Professional Development) is required.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional qualifications such as CA/CPA are a strong advantage.
Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting, finance, and financial reporting.
Solid knowledge of local financial regulations and Local GAAP; exposure to US GAAP is a plus.
Hands-on experience with tax matters and inventory accounting.
Proficiency in SAP or other ERP systems will be an advantage.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate in English
Demonstrated ability to work independently while also thriving in a team-oriented environment. team.
Strong time management skills, with flexibility to work across time zones and outside standard business hours during peak periods.
