Location: Hybrid (based at our offices in Parsippany, NJ 3 days per week)
Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to provide end-to-end accounting support while driving operational excellence across the Finance and Operations team. This hybrid role combines month-end close, treasury, and financial reporting with hands-on operational and compliance responsibilities, including payroll, sales tax, and system process improvement. You will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy of our financial statements, supporting our global operations, and optimizing workflows during a period of significant growth.
Your Role: Reporting directly to the Director of Finance, this role is integral to ensure the financial health of the company through scaling process and systems, maintaining timely and accurate financial reporting, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Your attention to detail, organization and time-management skills will play a key role in driving operational excellence and supporting the company’s growth objectives.

Your role in managing the monthly close will help ensure accurate and reliable financial reporting, helping drive sustained growth. Your ability to collaborate and communicate effectively throughout all levels of the organization and exercise sound judgment in generating insights will drive meaningful impact early and often.
Key Responsibilities:
- Month End-close activities: prepare and post journal entries, manage fixed asset register, reconcile bank and general ledger accounts, ensuring accurate financial reporting.
- Treasury: Prepare and deliver weekly cashflow reports for key internal stakeholders.
- Vendor: Manage vendor payment cycles, approval workflows, and vendor relations.
- Oversee the expense management process and system administration.
- Tax & Compliance: Assist finance team with corporate and sales tax compliance maintaining strict adherence to reporting and regulatory requirements.
- Payroll: Coordinate global payroll processing and US benefit with the HR team and oversee the accounting of payroll and related benefit accounts.
- Assist with the cap table, and shareholder / equity management platform.
- Assist Senior Accountant with commission reporting, reconciliation, and payment cycles.
- Identify areas for process improvement and help implement enhancements through leveraging AI and technology.
We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, or a related field.
- 2-4 years of accounting experience in a high-growth environment – preferably in public accounting or technology environment.
- Strong understanding of US GAAP.
- Proficiency in accounting software and tools (e.g., MS Office, Dynamics 365).

While not required, it’s an added plus if you have:
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics Business Central 365.
- Sales tax experience in a SaaS business.
- CPA or CPA candidate.
