The Senior Accountant will influence, drive process, implement change, and proactively lead while demonstrating a high level of transparency, accountability, and collaboration cross-functionally. This highly visible position will create value for the business by providing accurate, timely accounting and analytical services to all business partners enabling them to make better business decisions. - Completes all assigned tasks necessary for the general ledger close at each month-end, quarter-end, and year-end reporting cycle timely and accurately.
- Ensures the integrity of accounting information by recording, verifying, consolidating, and entering transactions
- Reviews financial reports and prepare analyses
- Completes assigned balance sheet account reconciliations are prepared in a timely and accurate manner.
- Maintains and balances subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, posting, and reconciling transactions and resolving discrepancies
- Assists with various financial reporting deliverables
- Compiles inventory values and analysis of inventory changes including regular communication with those personnel in the field that are responsible for the physical inventory counts
- Maintains compliance and documentation of internal controls
- Collaborates with external auditors and the internal audit function regarding CC’s annual audit, and ongoing controls testing
- Performs analysis of business trends and communicates with product managers and other business leaders regarding financial performance on various components of CC
- Develops and implements process improvements with the goal of reducing the time to close the books while maintaining high quality and accuracy
- Ensures timely completion of ad-hoc project work, as assigned
Education & Essential Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field and at least 5 years of experience in at least three of the following: corporate accounting, public accounting, internal audit, financial planning and/or analysis or similar
- Experience with US GAAP accounting
- Proficient with MS Excel
- Experience working as a team player

The anticipated salary range for this position is $75,000 - $85,000, and includes benefits such as the following:
