Hiring: Senior Accountant
We’re looking for a Senior Accountant to join us at Telia.
I’m Laura Rimkevičienė, and I’m searching for someone ready to grow with us. This is a position for someone who has prior experience in accounts payable and fixed asset accounting, enjoy resolving more complex accounting issues and helping team members through support and mentorship. The position is based in Vilnius.
What you’ll do:
- Manage the fixed assets register, including capitalization, depreciation, disposals, and transfers.
- Conduct regular asset audits and reconciliations to maintain the integrity of asset records.
- Prepare detailed reports and financial statements for management review and collaborate with various departments to ensure proper tracking and reporting of assets.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and accounting standards (IFRS/local GAAP).
- Manage end-to-end P2P processes and support automation and continuous improvement initiatives within the P2P cycle.
- Support audits and month-end closing by preparing requisite documentation,
- Assist in developing and implementing asset management policies and procedures and guide and support team members in their work.
What will help you thrive in this role:
The suitable candidate is analytical, proactive, detail-oriented and structured. Also strong communication and collaboration skills together with a solution-oriented mindset and strong problem-solving skills are required.
- 2 years of hands-on experience in accounting,
- Knowledge of local and international accounting standards,
- Lithuanian language and fluency in English (B2 and above).
- Solid Excel skills (pivot, if, vlookup, etc.).
- Familiarity with SAP (or similar ERP) is considered as advantage.

Monthly salary range for this position – 2500-3800Eur (gross) + annual performance bonuses. Although it may vary depending on your skills and experience.
