As part of our Finance team, you will play a critical role in delivering accurate reporting, insightful analysis, and robust financial governance that supports our operations across the country.
About the roleWe are seeking a Finance Specialist (Senior FP&A) to join our Sydney team. Reporting to the Finance Manager, this role owns the reporting cycle, forecasting, and budgeting process. You will partner with senior leaders to provide financial insight, manage project cost control, and ensure compliance with corporate and statutory requirements.
Key responsibilities• Lead monthly Flash, Latest Estimates, and reporting packs.
• Manage budget cycles and rolling forecasts in collaboration with department heads.
• Provide project financial control, including CAPEX and project oversight.
• Deliver regulatory compliance (BAS, FBT, audits, annual filings).
• Partner with business unit and global Vopak Finance teams to align governance and reporting standards.
• Degree in Accounting/Finance (CA/CPA desirable).
• 4–7 years’ FP&A, audit, or financial control experience.
• Strong analytical skills, with advanced Excel and ERP systems.
• Experience in energy, logistics, or infrastructure highly regarded.
• Ability to partner with business leaders to deliver insights and influence decisions.
