Ubiquity Service is looking for a Senior Accountant who will initially focus on Polish statutory accounting and tax compliance, with the opportunity to expand into international accounting responsibilities over time. While your main role will involve Polish GAAP and tax regulations, experience or familiarity with Germany and UK accounting and tax systems is considered a strong advantage
Сompany operates in the automotive industry, so previous accounting experience in this sector will be considered a strong plus.
This position offers a clear growth path into managing cross-border accounting and multinational tax compliance as our business expands.
Key ResponsibilitiesManage Polish statutory accounting in accordance with Polish Accounting Standards (PAS).
Prepare and file VAT and CIT returns in Poland.
Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
Work closely with auditors and tax authorities in Poland.
Assist in maintaining accurate and timely financial records.
Collaborate with the international finance team on group reporting under IFRS.
Gradually take on responsibilities for German (HGB) and UK (UK GAAP/IFRS) accounting and tax compliance.
Provide support for cross-border VAT filings under supervision.
Education: Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Professional qualifications: Part-qualified or qualified accountant (Biegły Rewident, ACCA, CIMA) preferred.
Experience: Minimum 7 years in accounting, with solid Polish GAAP, KSR and tax knowledge. Experience in Automotive, EV area is a huge plus.
Desirable international exposure: Basic understanding or practical experience with HGB (Germany) and UK GAAP/IFRS.
Languages: Polish (fluent), English (professional working proficiency); German is a plus.
Technical skills: Experience with accounting software (SAP, Oracle NetSuite, Xero, QuickBooks, or equivalent).
Soft skills: Eager to learn international frameworks, proactive, detail-oriented.
