Senior Accountant - Tulsa, OK

Senior Accountant Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Accountant to support a broad range of accounting and financial functions in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment. This role will play a critical part in key initiatives including finance system implementations, process improvement projects, and M&A accounting integration. Additional responsibilities include month-end close and consolidation within a multi-entity environment,  account reconciliation, financial analysis, ad hoc reporting, and audit support. The Senior Accountant will also assume responsibility for sales tax compliance and reporting. This position reports directly to the Director of Accounting and offers significant exposure across departments and leadership levels. Given the rapid expansion of the organization, this role presents strong potential for long-term growth and increased responsibility.

As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for: 

• The monthly general ledger close and consolidation across multiple entities within Tenstreet.
• Assisting with finance system implementations and process improvement projects
• Contributing to M&A accounting integration efforts
• Sales tax accounting and compliance
• Collaborate with stakeholders across the company
• Assisting with finance system implementations and special projects to improve processes within the finance function
• Preparing schedules and analyses to support the financial statement audit
• Assisting in development and implementation of new procedures and features to enhance the workflow of the department
• Preparing special reports and perform ad hoc analysis as needed

You might be a good fit as a Senior Accountant if: 

• You have a bachelors degree in Accounting
• CPA preferred
• You have 3+ years of public accounting experience 
• You are a self-starter and able to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced setting
• You are highly proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Office programs
• You have strong interpersonal skills with ability to multi-task, work under pressure and meet deadlines
• You have strong verbal and written communication skills
