Partnering closely with our CEO and Founder, this seasoned accountant will own all accounting aspects not limited to bookkeeping, A/P and A/R, and budgeting and revenue recognition. You are detail oriented to the finest degree, love and are passionate about numbers, and can also think big-picture and tie all the accounting with the trajectory and direction of Copy.ai.
What you'll do:
- Own Accounts Receivables and collections
- Own all Accounts Payable responsibilities
- Assist and own all budgeting aspects
- Own Revenue Recognition
- Own all Bookkeeping responsibilities
About you:
- 7+ years of general accounting experience
- A/P and A/R experience
- You're an Excel/Spreadsheet wizard. You love, live, and breathe in spreadsheets
- You're an analytical and systems driven person. You love and are passionate about the numbers. Numbers make sense to you and balancing the books is critical to you.
- You're both meticulously detail-oriented and think big-picture and holistically
- You're an articulate, concise, and thoughtful communicator. This role is highly cross-functional so you need to be able to collaborate and communicate effectively with various internal stakeholders
- You have experience with collaborating with leadership on budgeting
- ERP experience with Quickbooks is a plus
