Your role here
The Senior Accountant will apply accounting principles and procedures to record or review journal entries and prepare or review account reconciliations. In addition, the Senior Accountant will analyze financial information and assist with the preparation of accurate and timely financial reports, ensuring appropriate accounting control practices and procedures, supporting special projects and leading process improvements.
Your experience and background

Support the North American accounting team in delivering timely and accurate month-end close.

Understand and prepare manual journal entries and account reconciliations for assigned transactions and accounts.

Ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies, U.S. GAAP and statutory requirements.

Design or improve processes to provide business leaders with better visibility into financial data trends, risks and other analytical insights.

Support special projects, critical initiatives and implementation of new accounting standards

Work with teams throughout the global controllership organization as well as cross-functionally with FP&A, Treasury, Tax, and IT / Financial Systems.

Identify and complete the implementation of process improvements related to areas of responsibility

Support internal control compliance activities within related areas, including implementation of identified controls, completing key controls, and ensuring sufficient documentation exists.

Support timely completion of annual audit by providing adequate documentation for assigned areas to the external auditors

Deliver on ad-hoc projects / deliverables as necessary.

Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
