Formlabs is growing by the minute. Amid this rapid expansion, we’re looking for more operational muscle on our Finance & Accounting team. At Formlabs, joining this dynamic, intensely focused team means applying attention to detail and good judgment skills to financial operations, while delivering the accurate and timely information required to manage our scaling business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Record day-to-day cash transactions for US and EMEA bank accounts and PayPal accounts
- Manage prepaid transactions including reviewing prepaid accounts’ details, setting up prepaid schedules, running monthly amortizations and monthly account reconciliations.
- Responsible for recurring monthly accruals for the month-end closes such as facility expenses, marketing events, consulting services, etc..
- Responsible for the account reviews and flux analysis during the month-end closes for the designated areas such as travel expenses, marketing expenses, etc..
- Prepare accounts reconciliations for the internal and external reviews
- Assist with the annual audit requests
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of financial operations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, providing financial expertise and support for various projects
- Work with the HQ accounting team on the ad-hoc requests
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, with a focus on general ledger accounting.
- Proficiency in accounting software
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work well in a team on an international level
Bonus Skills:
- Passion for 3D printing and emerging technologies
- Experience in a fast-growing startup environment
- Experience with VAT
